Coming to Grace

Sunday Worship

Each Sunday | 8:30am | Sanctuary

All are welcome to Grace! Below the map is more information on what to expect when you visit Grace. We look forward to seeing you!

Our service typically lasts 60 minutes. We begin with an opening passage from the Bible, sing songs new and old focused on God, hear Bible passages and preaching, then pray for people and their needs, and on most Sundays share in Holy Communion, closing with a biblical blessing. Some Sundays we have a special emphasis on prayer and fellowship and then share a light meal together.

Parking

There is ample parking on either side of the building and additional parking around the back. The main entrance to the Sanctuary is the double doors facing the street.

Attire

Come as you are, ready to worship our gracious God!—You might see people wearing jeans, dresses, polos or button downs. The most important thing isn’t how you primp, it’s how you prepare your heart to worship in God’s presence.

Nursery

Childcare is provided for children under five years of age. Ask any member and they can guide you to the nursery room. However, Grace values children in worship, so you are welcome to keep your children with you.

Music

Grace worships with modern and traditional songs—thoughtfully selected to support the theme of worship and the Word of God preached weekly— accompanied by a pianist and worship leader.

Denomination

Grace is a Gospel-focused Anglican church. Anglicans are the deepest root in a fascinating family tree of English-speaking denominations: Anglican martyrs died to shape England into the first Protestant nation of the Reformation, Anglican theologians helped write the belief statement of Presbyterians, and Anglican ministers started the Methodists. Anglicans led the Great Awakening, ended slavery in Great Britain, penned “Amazing Grace” and “The Chronicles of Narnia,” and are the third largest global association of Christian churches in the 21st century. Learn more about Anglicanism.

Communion

Communion is shared most Sundays. All baptized believers are encouraged to participate by receiving bread and wine (grape juice is available). Anyone is welcome to come forward during communion to receive prayer.
